Refreshing Persimmon Smoothie – perfect post-workout persimmon smoothie is a tasty, healthy and well-deserved meal after a good exercise.

If you’re sick of eating bananas, they can easily be substituted with persimmon. The persimmon season has already begun, and the sweet fruit can already be found in grocery stores.
One regularly size persimmon fruit consists of 70 calories so it’s actually quite similar to banana which contains 89 calories per 100 grams.

Ingredients:

20 g pumpkin protein
5 g ground flaxseed
125 g persimmon (I used about ½ of a single persimmon)
200 ml soy milk

Instruction:

Peel the persimmon and add the fruit in the blender together with all of the other ingredients. You may also add a sprinkle of cinnamon if you wish. And you’re done – it’s that easy! Bon appétit!
