Immune Boosting Citrus Smoothie – awesome morning energy boost smoothie with a dose of vitamin C!

Everybody knows that grapefruit is a great source for vitamin C, but it also contains a lot of vitamin A. It is recommended to remove the thin, clear peel, otherwise the smoothie will be a tad bitter – but if you’re okay with that you can easily leave the peel because it is a direct source of fiber. Don’t forget to also add some turmeric – it’s a root that is used as a spice just like ginger. It’s yellow in color and prevents inflammation and pain, boosts blood circulation, and is overall recommended to consume by everyone for preventive purposes.
