Brownies are the favorite dessert choice for a lot of people. Traditional brownie recipes include cocoa or chocolate, but this time we’ll replace them with carob powder.
Carob Brownies – quick and simple recipe. I recommend consuming these brownies during the first part of the day since it contains a relatively high amount of calories.
Ingredients:
175g Corn flour (you can also use wholegrain flour or homemade oat flour)
25g Carob powder
1 tsp. Baking powder
75 ml Maple syrup
25 ml Coconut oil (organic)
25ml Water
Directions:
Mix the corn flour, carob powder and baking powder. Then add the maple syrup, coconut oil and water. Mix until the mass has a somewhat even consistency. Lay parchment paper into a baking mold, then pour in the brownie mix. Bake in 175 degrees (Celsius) for about 20-30 minutes. Bon appétit!
