Banana-Date Smoothie

A healthy banana-date smoothie made from just 3 ingredients! A morning shot of energy guaranteed! This smoothie is packed full of nutritious goodies!

What you get with each ingredient:

Banana – contain a lot of fiber, promotes bowel activity and is a natural anti-oxidant. Banana contains vitamins B6 and C, in addition to beta-carotene and such minerals as magnesium and potassium. I recommend adding this tropical fruit to your diet, and it’s so easy – just add it your favorite smoothie!

Dates – dates contain vitamin B6, iron, calcium, and fiber (8 g fiber per every 100 g). Because dates are sweet, they are super easy to use in desserts, and also make for a healthy afternoon snack instead of, for instance, candy.


3 bananas (3×80 g)
40 g dates (5-6 gab.)
A sprinkle of cinnamon
A scoop of ice


Submerge the dates in water for about an hour until they become soft. Use just enough water to submerge all of the dates. After an hour, blend together all of the ingredients, including the date-water. Enjoy!
